Dear NTI Students,
When permitted to use GenAI tools, you might be uncertain about how to use them to support your learning and about how to appropriately acknowledge and reference that use. Academic Support will run a workshop to equip you with the necessary skills to use GenAI tools mindfully and ethically in assessment tasks.
Ethical Use of GenAI Tools Workshop
Monday 30 March 2026, 2 pm (AEDT), up to 1.5 hours
In this workshop, we will focus on the requirements when it comes to using, acknowledging and referencing GenAI tools in your assessments at NTI.
First, we will walk through the ethics and requirements behind GenAI use at NTI, and then, we will invite you to respond to a few scenarios to demonstrate your capacity to use GenAI tools ethically and apply these requirements. This workshop will be particularly useful if you are permitted to use GenAI tools in assessments tasks but need guidance on how to do so with integrity.
Please register using this link.
Please note that places are limited due to the interactive nature of the workshops. Registration is essential and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. An additional workshop might be run depending on demand (date and time to be confirmed).
Warm wishes,
The Academic Support Team
